Emory Area Dog Parks - Decatur

The Emory area and the City of Decatur are well-known for fine restaurants, shops, quaint neighborhoods and close proximity to downtown Atlanta.

The area is also dog-friendly with several excellent dog parks within a few miles of each other.

Mason Mill Dog Park - Recently renovated and located on North Jamestown Road in Decatur, features flat open space with double fences, adjacent parking, water fountains, baggies and trash deposit plus a covered picnic area.  Only two benches.  Surrounding area is beautifully landscaped with a number of new dogwood trees.

Glenlake Dog Park - Also recently renovated and located at 1121 Church Street in Decatur.  Smaller Dog Park within the larger Glenlake Park with water fountains, baggies and trash deposit and a covered picnic area.  Good parking but suggest entering off Church Street by the Pool and Tennis courts, as the other entrance is a bumpy ride over stones.

Adair Dog Park - Located at Trinity Place next to the Mary Gay House in Decatur.  This large park is one of the more appealing with benches and abundant shade, double fences, water fountains, baggies and trash deposit.  Limited parking but handy.

Visit one of these convenient Decatur Dog Parks when you have an opportunity - your best friend will thank you!
